18th Century Pet en L’Air

• Date created: February 2026

• Personal Project- inspired by and created for visiting the Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A at that time.

• Made in 2 days (minus the hood which was added at a later date), this is the most elaborate costume that I made in such a short amount of time, and it is one of my favourites.

• I also wanted to add a sentimental ( and also historical) element to it by creating a pair of Lover’s Eyes brooches, also inspired by a piece from the V&A museum.
